Like many others, I got New Horizons on my Switch during the pandemic. I had never played an Animal Crossing game before, and I loved the repetativeness of the game. While I enjoy more in-depth games, I also like an easy game where I can relax and create an island of my own.

I restarted my island recently and I've been playing it almost every day. I'm still pretty early on in the game, so I haven't done much in the way of setting up my island. The most recent milestone is getting my fifth villager on the island.

On my island, I have Dom, Plucky, Elmer, Marina, and Felicity. I'm was nervous about getting ugly villagers but I'm very happy with them.
